We found the bill for the governor general’s Middle East trip

Governor General Mary Simon and her entourage billed taxpayers $1.3 million on the week-long trip to the Middle East. Can Simon prove that spending $1.3 million on a week-long trip is a better use of tax dollars than hiring more nurses or helping struggling Canadian taxpayers? The CTF dug up the data, and the National Post ran the story on its front page.
