If politicians want to improve affordability, they need to lower taxes. To put that in perspective, even during the pandemic, the average Canadian family paid $35,047 in taxes, or 36 per cent of their budget.
During this election, politicians are trying to sell us on their affordability plans. So, our B.C. Director Kris Sims and our Federal Director Franco Terrazzano broke down what each party could do about Canada’s tax burden.
